Posted on Wednesday, July 2, 2025

Settle it in your heart: God wants you well; He's on your side. It's not a matter of "getting" healing, but believing and receiving it from His gracious will. It's not praying "for" healing, but believing "in" healing that brings it about. Jesus paid the price for both sin and sickness at the cross. There is no reason for you not to stand against both in agreement with God.

We've already been given all things necessary for life and been redeemed and set free from the curse. Why, then, are so many living defeated lives? The problem is not on God's end! We receive from God in prayer; we come into agreement with what God has already provided in His Word. Prayer is taking advantage of a legal right; feelings in prayer do not make a difference. The keys to answered prayer are the promises in the Bible. Peace and joy, freedom from sin and sickness; keeping the devil underfoot; using granted authority in the name of Jesus, all are provisions in the Word.

Testimonies from their personal lives and lessons from real Scripture personalities highlight what happens when we hear and obey--or disobey--what God is telling us. Joseph's immediate responses to protect Jesus; Jonah the prophet's journey from flight to fulfillment; King David's disobedient census in spite of good counsel; Moses at the second rock; these and more have pointers for us to follow.

Develop your attitude toward Father God and understand His attitude toward you with this teaching. Prayer is not a way to convince or manipulate Him to bless you! He is pleased with your prosperity and desires your success with an open-door policy of providing everything you need before you ask. Come boldly, expecting His warm welcome and giving heart.
